This year’s theme, “Domino Effect,” is about two sides of change. Systems have to be built to open doors, but real progress happens when people step through those doors and take action. On both sides, a domino effect can spark incredible change—for individuals, communities, and society.

We’re looking for a diverse lineup of voices—people who can speak to building better systems, taking ownership of growth, or the powerful ripple effect that happens when both come together.

  • A TEDx Talk is a showcase for speakers presenting great, well-formed ideas in under 18 minutes. Please visit the official TEDx page for more info.

    • No Commercial Agendas: Talks can’t be used to promote a product, company, or service.

    • No Political Agendas: Talks should avoid divisive or inflammatory rhetoric.

    • No Religious Agendas: Talks can’t promote specific religious beliefs or practices.

    • No Bad Science: Talks must be based on credible, scientific evidence. Avoid pseudoscience or unsupported claims.

  • Anyone! We welcome applications from all backgrounds, professions, and life experiences. If you have an idea that aligns with our theme, “Domino Effect,” we want to hear from you.

  • The application process is simple: Fill out the online form, including a 1-2 minute video explaining your idea and how it connects to our theme, “Domino Effect.” Once submitted, applications will be reviewed by a dedicated selection team (not the event organizers, so please don’t contact them directly about your status). If selected, you’ll be notified by March 3rd and work with our speaker coaches to refine your talk. You’ll also participate in workshops and rehearsals to prepare for the event, tentatively scheduled for June 10th, 2025.
